A reinterpretation of the Threads app icon, built around my own illustration style.

Threads has this odd charm an app where any stranger can just talk to you, and somehow it works.

This piece takes that literally: instead of one clean figure, the icon becomes three tangled creatures a fuzzy lilac slug, a blue worm with a toothy grin, and a spotted green tail none designed to match, yet holding each other up.

Started from the classic Threads silhouette and rebuilt it with organic, creature-based shapes instead of clean geometry.

Adjusted expressions, textures, and palette until I landed on that balance between grotesque and lovable.

Every stage sketch, line, color, composition was done by hand.
