B4work a job board app exclusively for candidates, available on both iOS and Android platforms. Dedicated to simplifying and elevating the job search experience, B4work offers a specialized solution designed to empower users in their quest for the perfect opportunity.

What problem are we solving?

Job seekers often face the challenge of organizing multiple job opportunities. Without a dedicated solution, managing and revisiting these prospects becomes time-consuming. To address this, B4work introduces the “Save Job” feature, streamlining the process and offering users a simple way to organize and manage their potential opportunities efficiently.

My Role

I played a central role in bringing the “Save Job” feature to B4work. From conceptualization to implementation, I focused on understanding user needs, designing an intuitive interface, and ensuring a smooth integration. My responsibilities also included coordinating with cross-functional teams for a successful rollout on both iOS and Android platforms.

Platform-Specific Organization: Users stressed the need for a tool on B4work to centrally manage and organize job opportunities within the platform.
Efficient Retrieval of Opportunities: Feedback highlighted the challenge users face in revisiting and tracking potential job leads, emphasizing the need to streamline this process, particularly within B4work.
Exclusive Application Focus: User insights revealed a strong desire for tools tailored exclusively to managing and applying for positions within the B4work application.
Simplified Job Search: Users preferred a straightforward and intuitive tool, enhancing the B4work experience by simplifying the job search process.
Personalization with Notes: Users need personalization; adding notes to saved jobs lets them enhance organization with relevant information, reminders, or thoughts.

In the prototyping phase, I present the “Save Job” feature through an interactive video. This showcase illustrates the user journey, offering stakeholders a hands-on experience from job discovery to saving and applying.

During testing, five candidates tried out our product, and their feedback was very positive.
Success Rate: Users achieved an outstanding 90% success rate in successfully saving and applying to jobs, highlighting the feature’s functional and user-friendly nature.
Efficiency Ratings: An overwhelming 85% of users provided positive feedback on the feature’s efficiency, emphasizing its ability to streamline the job-saving and application process.
