SaleHoo is a platform for eCommerce entrepreneurs offering 8,000+ drop shipping and wholesale suppliers, 1.6 million high-quality products at low prices, a market research tool, and 24-hour support. They help online sellers find branded and niche products, credible suppliers, and provide critical research on trending products, vetted suppliers, sell-through rates, and profit margins. SaleHoo members receive expert training to build a a successful online store.

Goals and Objectives

Increase top-of funnel conversions and audit competitors.

Increase engagement and reduce user fall-off.

Improve inbound strategy and brand positioning as a thought-leader.

Better highlight the product value proposition with new landing pages and web pages.

Service Delivery

The tasks:

Simplify and improve landing page copy for two main digital products (Dropship and Directory) to increase conversions and keep abreast with competitors

Optimize email series, like abandon cart and onboarding to increase conversion and engagement rates for buyers and users.

Update existing content with relevant, up-to-date information and data.

Edit new landing pages to optimize for conversion and scroll-depth.

Results and Outcomes

Within a four-month testing period for an optimized email campaign for increasing engagement, my email variations received greater tracked link clicks and conversion rates than their original counterparts, garnering up to a 95.8% chance to beat original within Customer.io.

The team was also able to make key updates to the CMS system and the content within after my analysis of blog copy and layout, including adding a scrollable table of contents and switching to a new default heading and subheading structure.

We were able to overhaul two main landing pages for the brand's top-selling software platforms, drawing from user survey responses, competitor analysis, and Hotjar click and scroll data. The result was a much cleaner, more succinct, and automated landing page experience.
