Nova Chief of Staff — Website, Course Setup & Kajabi Checkout

Nova Chief of Staff is an education business for current and aspiring Chiefs of Staff, executive assistants, and business leaders. I handled the website design and build, course setup, and checkout experience, connecting the public-facing brand with its online certification offer.

The challenge: make a complex education offer easy to navigate

Nova serves more than one audience. An individual might be exploring a career move, comparing certification formats, or ready to enrol. An executive or founder may need training for an entire team. The website had to give each visitor a clear route while keeping the brand coherent across the journey.
The goal was to connect four decisions: understand Nova, find the right program, understand the learning experience, and enrol. The website and Kajabi checkout needed to feel like parts of the same education business.

My role and scope

My work covered website design and development, certification-page presentation, online course setup, and the connection to Kajabi checkout. The project brought together the homepage, program information, learning-path comparison, curriculum presentation, resources, and enrolment calls to action.

Planning the website journey

I structured the experience around visitor intent. The homepage introduces Nova and separates individual certification from team training. The certification page then provides the detail needed to choose a format. Resources, the syllabus enquiry, and founder information support visitors who need more context before committing.
The core route is: homepage → certification overview → learning-path selection → self-paced course offer → Kajabi checkout. Virtual cohort, in-person training, and team training have their own routes so visitors are not funnelled into an unsuitable offer.

Website design and build

I used Nova’s slate-blue and gold palette, prominent editorial headings, program photography, and clear calls to action to create a consistent visual language. Large introductory sections establish the offer; more detailed sections explain who it serves and what the learner can expect.
The design moves between brand storytelling and practical decision-making. The homepage introduces the business, the certification page makes the offer concrete, and repeated enrolment links give ready visitors a next step without requiring them to return to the top of the page.

Presenting three certification paths

A key part of the experience is the comparison between self-paced learning, a three-day virtual cohort, and a three-day in-person track. I presented these as distinct choices with a short explanation and a relevant next action for each.
This keeps flexibility, delivery format, and availability visible at the point of selection. The team-training route sits alongside the individual options, giving organisations a separate way to explore support.

Course setup and curriculum experience

The course work involved translating Nova’s certification offer into an organised online learning experience and connecting that experience to the enrolment offer. The public curriculum is presented in six modules, from understanding the Chief of Staff role through business planning, communication, strategic prioritisation, and a virtual mock meeting with a president.
On the website, expandable module sections make the curriculum browsable. The self-paced offer explains the learning format, practical assignments, tools and templates, and ongoing access, helping prospective students understand what they are purchasing before entering checkout.
The educational curriculum and student outcomes belong to Nova. My contribution is the website, platform setup, and presentation of the learning and enrolment experience.

Connecting the website to Kajabi checkout

I connected the self-paced enrolment journey to Nova’s Kajabi offer checkout. The checkout brings the course title, supporting information, student-story video, price, and purchase form into one destination.
This is an important handoff: the visitor leaves the marketing website and enters the transaction stage. Keeping the offer recognisable helps maintain context. The live checkout includes customer details, a coupon field, payment choices, and a clear purchase action, with course information available alongside the form.

Supporting visitors before they enrol

Not every visitor is ready to buy immediately. The experience also provides routes to review the syllabus, explore resources, learn about the founder, and book a discovery conversation. These routes support different levels of readiness while keeping certification easy to find.

Delivered experience

The result is a live education website connected to an online certification offer and Kajabi checkout. Visitors can discover Nova, compare learning formats, review the curriculum, and move into enrolment through a coherent journey.
