Dallr is a new cloud accounting product built on the security and transparency of blockchain technology. If that's not cool enough, there story behind the brand name is even better.
Dallr (pronounced 'dollar') is derived from the Norse mythological figure Heimdall - the watchman of the Gods. Heimdall is the guardian of the Bifrost. You may recognize that from a few of the Marvel movies. The parallel is simple: Heimdall is the guardian of the Bifrost and Dallr's primary feature is accounting on the blockchain as a means to guard against fraud and malicious activity.
We designed every element of the Dallr brand to help tell this story with a creative brand system that feels vastly different from others in the fintech space.
The custom Dallr logotype was built using simple geometry to reflect the simplicity of the product itself.
Watchman of the Gods
Because Dallr's story is rooted in Norse mythology, we crafted the logo using the Norse Rune symbol for protection. The team at Dallr also wanted the symbol the to feel coin-like and something that could be held.

Transparency in Every Dallr
We developed fading gradients to anchor the brand to the idea of financial transparency in a digital world. They're also a nod to the rainbow bridge, Bifrost found in Greek and Norse mythology.
