Project Overview
High Bridge Academy needed a modern, professional website to establish their digital presence and effectively communicate their consulting expertise. The client required a platform that would build credibility, showcase their services clearly, and convert visitors into leads.
The Challenge
Starting from zero with no existing brand guidelines or content structure, I needed to create a complete digital experience that would position High Bridge Academy as a trusted consulting partner while making complex services easy to understand and navigate.
My Role & Approach
As the sole designer and developer, I managed the entire project lifecycle:
Discovery & Strategy
Conducted stakeholder interviews to understand business goals and target audience
Analyzed competitor websites in the consulting space
Developed information architecture and user flow maps
Created brand guidelines including color palette and typography system
Design Phase
Designed high-fidelity mockups in Figma focusing on professional aesthetics
Created a modular design system for scalability
Developed responsive layouts optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile
Designed custom service pages with clear calls-to-action
Development Phase
Built custom WordPress theme from scratch using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Implemented Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for flexible content management
Integrated contact forms with email notifications and CRM connection
Optimized for performance with lazy loading and image compression
Ensured cross-browser compatibility and WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards
Implemented SEO best practices including schema markup and meta optimization
Launch & Handoff
Conducted thorough QA testing across devices and browsers
Provided comprehensive documentation for content updates
Trained the client team on WordPress administration
Set up Google Analytics and Search Console for tracking
