Fable Foundations - Animated Tutorials

A pioneering web-based motion design platform, Fable aimed to make professional-grade animation accessible directly in the browser. While the tool is no longer active, it represented an ambitious step in creative technology. As Fable's first in-house motion designer, developing the Foundations tutorials was among my earliest initiatives. I established the comprehensive art direction, designed style frames, and animated intros and outros.

Challenge
Fable's user interface was changing so quickly that the "Foundations" series needed to be relevant despite the constant updates. On top of that, the goal was to establish Fable as both a reliable tool and a leader in motion design, not just a piece of software.
Solution
I used an abstract visual approach that focused on core interactions rather than specific interface layouts, ensuring the content would stand the test of time. To position Fable as a thought leader, I created engaging video intros and outros that visually explained key animation principles.
