The project's descriptive report shows five distinct zones, each with specific characteristics and elements. It is crucial to highlight the importance of good design and planning to avoid economic problems during implementation, such as extended construction timelines or plant mortality.
Zone 1 features an open space with trees like olive and braquiquito, taking advantage of a slope to create a low-maintenance flower bed. A staircase will be built using stones from the old wall, and the area with trample-resistant grass is emphasized.
Zone 2 borders the main building and the linden tree courtyard. It includes an open space with grasses and an access path covered with gravel. It also incorporates a floral slope, olive trees, cypresses, and a vegetative barrier to provide lushness and privacy.
Zone 3 lies between the main building and the walkway. It encompasses a shaded strip with existing vegetation, such as strawberry trees and wisteria, and is divided into three parts: one covered with mulch, another with shade and semi-shade plants for year-round color, and a separating barrier with abelias.
Zone 4, located east of the intervention area, is divided into a space under a large Lebanese cedar and a perimeter area intended to serve as an acoustic and visual barrier. It will be covered with mulch to minimize maintenance and create a woodland atmosphere.
Zone 5 encompasses the perimeter space of the property from the southern to the northern zone. It includes a portion covered with mulch as an acoustic and visual barrier, and another portion covered with gravel to facilitate drainage and maintenance.
Zone 6 comprises the area adjacent to the linden tree courtyard and includes a rock wall, existing vegetation such as cypresses, and a passageway staircase. The presence of a fig tree is also highlighted.
Each zone has specific dimensions and quantities of plants with the aim of creating attractive and functional spaces. Additionally, elements such as vegetal waterfalls, separating profiles, and estimated soil volumes are mentioned for each zone.
