Challenge
A friend approached me with an idea for a new SaaS platform aimed at simplifying invoice management, approvals, and budget tracking for the Russian market. The platform itself was in early development, and the team needed a marketing website to clearly communicate the product’s value — especially in contrast to the outdated and complex alternatives currently available in the region.
Approach
Starting completely from scratch, I handled both the design and development of the website, with a focus on clarity, simplicity, and trust-building:
Brand & visual direction from the ground up
With no existing brand assets or design system, I established the visual style of the website from scratch — creating a clean, modern aesthetic that matched the platform’s goal of being simple and easy to use. This included defining the color palette, typography, and tone of imagery.
End-to-end design in Figma
I designed five fully custom pages in Figma: Homepage, Pricing, About, "For Whom", and one additional supporting page. Each layout was tailored to highlight key product benefits — like budget management, invoice approvals, and bank integrations—while previewing bits of the platform UI to build confidence.
Webflow development for a responsive, fast-loading site
Once designs were finalized, I developed the entire site in Webflow, ensuring performance, responsiveness, and clean structure. Interactions were used thoughtfully to add polish without overwhelming the user.
Image and illustration creation
I also produced all supporting visuals and imagery, including custom UI mockups and icons, to reinforce the brand’s promise of simplicity and control.
Outcome
The result is a professional, fast, and easy-to-navigate marketing website that positions the platform as a modern solution in a traditionally outdated space. With clear messaging and a visual style that reflects the product’s simplicity, the site effectively communicates the value proposition — and gives the team a strong foundation for early marketing efforts.
