Electronic Arts had acquired many companies over a short period of time. This left their communications systems fragmented. I was hired to rebuild and fix the problems with their email systems.

I developed and implemented standards for email routing using SENDMAIL and core email systems using Exchange and Active Directory. Managed complex existing Exchange environment of 23 sites, 44 servers, various connectors with private and public access, and multiple UNIX Solaris 2.x BIND and SENDMAIL servers. Mentored and trained EA staff throughout the engagement to take over operations.

EA received a modernized email system with simplified routing. Their network latency and throughput was greatly improved. The work was completed on schedule and with all requirements met.
