Project goal This client owns a dental practice located in a suburban area in the United States. The practice has been in business for several years, but despite their experience and expertise, they have struggled to attract enough local clients to sustain their business.
The client's main challenge has been their poor web presence. Their website is outdated, unresponsive, and lacks the necessary content and optimization to rank well on search engines. As a result, potential clients have difficulty finding their business online, which has resulted in a low number of inquiries and appointments.
They had attempted to address this issue in the past by hiring a digital marketing agency to manage their online presence. However, the agency's services were limited, and they did not specialize in local SEO optimization. Consequently, the client's web presence did not improve significantly, and they did not see a positive return on their investment.
After working with local agencies, they connected with me and we discussed the project in detail and how I could help them to build a sustainable online presence through Local SEO.

I worked closely with the dental practice client to develop and implement a comprehensive local SEO strategy that was tailored to their business needs and goals.
The project involved a combination of research, analysis, and implementation tasks, which were carried out over a period of 6 months. After the initial 6-month engagement, I continued to work with the client on a consultant basis for another 6 months to provide ongoing support and guidance.
Here's a breakdown of the key tasks that were carried out during the project:
- Keyword Research: Conducted extensive keyword research to identify the most relevant and high-traffic keywords related to dental services in the client's local area. The research included both short-tail and long-tail keywords and helped us to identify opportunities to improve the client's website content.
- Website Audit: Performed a comprehensive audit of the client's website to identify any technical issues, on-page optimization opportunities, and content gaps. The audit helped us to identify key areas for improvement, including website structure, page load speed, and mobile responsiveness.
- Content Audit: Analyzed the client's website content to identify any duplicate content, thin content, or outdated content. Based on the audit, we developed a content strategy that focused on creating high-quality, relevant, and engaging content that would attract and retain potential clients.
- Content Creation: Developed a content calendar and created new website content, including blog posts, service pages, and landing pages. The content was optimized for the target keywords and was designed to provide value to potential clients while also improving the client's website authority and ranking.
- Citation Audit and Clean Up: Conducted a thorough audit of the client's existing citations to identify any incorrect, incomplete, or duplicate listings. We cleaned up the existing citations and developed a process for monitoring and managing the client's citations going forward.
- Citation Building: Developed a citation building strategy that focused on building high-quality, relevant, and consistent citations on reputable directories and websites. The strategy helped to improve the client's online visibility and credibility.
- Google Business Profile Optimization/Management: Optimized and managed the client's Google My Business profile to improve their local search visibility. We ensured that the profile was fully completed, included relevant keywords and images, and was regularly updated with new content and reviews.
Results:
By implementing this comprehensive local SEO strategy, we were able to achieve the following results for the client:
