Visual identity for a skincare brand This visual identity is a part of the full branding project, ebene skincare is a brand that produces skincare products for melanin rich skin (within black and brown) that suffers from hyperpigmentation.
The problem the brand is trying to solve is the inability to find the right skincare for hyperpigmentation that isn't too harsh on the skin.
The goal of the brand is to offer the black skin range their confidence after a series of harsh skincare routines.
The creative direction on this brand was to look premium, trustworthy and memorable. They'll didn't want to look too clinical like other skincare brand , they wanted a bit of cultural relevance, something that ties them back to an African root.
The flow on the logo mark represents the smooth flow of the skincare or the skin, and the annotation on the E is a subtle touch to Africa language.
The Goal of this direction was to look different and recognizable.
