AlYumar - Website and Branding

Chibueze Etoniru

Project Overview Al-Yuma Ventures, an agro-allied company in Africa, needed a user-friendly digital platform to showcase its services (sourcing, processing, exporting) and connect with farmers, clients, and partners. The goal was to simplify complex agricultural processes into an intuitive interface while highlighting their social impact.
Challenge Users struggled to navigate fragmented information about services, farmer training programs, and CSR initiatives. Key pain points included:
Farmers needing quick access to training resources.
Clients seeking transparent export/import processes.
Partners wanting clear metrics on Al-Yuma’s impact.
Research & Insights User interviews and surveys revealed:
Farmers prioritized easy access to workshops and financing details.
Corporate clients wanted streamlined logistics information.
Donors/Partners valued visible impact metrics (e.g., tons exported, women trained).
Mobile-first design was critical, as 80% of farmers accessed content via smartphones.
Design Solutions
Simplified Information Architecture
Grouped services into clear categories: Our Services, Impact, Ventures.
Added a fixed navigation bar for quick access to key sections.
Impact-Driven Visual Storytelling
Created an “Our Impact” section with bold statistics (e.g., “7,200+ tons exported”) and infographics to build trust.
Farmer-Centric Resources
Designed a collapsible FAQ and downloadable training guides under Farm Advisory & Support.
Added a “Get in Touch” CTA prominently on every page for immediate support.
Mobile Optimization
Prioritized responsive layouts, larger buttons, and compressed images for low-bandwidth areas.
Results
40% increase in farmer registration for workshops within 3 months.
25% rise in client inquiries via the website’s contact form.
