Shopify is the all-in-one commerce platform to start, run, and grow a business. It powers over 2,000,000 businesses worldwide, and its mission is to make commerce better for everyone. My role was on the Financial Services team (specifically on the Shopify Balance product), and I helped merchants manage their finances efficiently, so they can reinvest quickly in the growth of their business. More specifically, I: • Led the go-to-market (GTM) strategy. Within 4 months of launch, 100,000 small businesses in the U.S. signed up for the product • Defined the messaging, narrative, positioning and go to market strategy to enable successful product/feature launches and campaigns by working across teams including Product Management, UX, Performance Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, Communications, PR, Support, Data and Revenue Operations and Sales + external partners (Visa and Stripe) • Worked with influencers/creators and affiliates to provide them with the tools they need to create content on Shopify products for their audiences
