Lead Generation & Email Automation Funnel Built in Kit for a Beauty SaaS

Overview:

This project demonstrates the implementation of a lead generation and email automation funnel using Kit for a fictional beauty booking SaaS platform.
The objective was to capture new leads, nurture them with educational content, and identify high-intent prospects interested in booking a product demo.

The Challenge:

Many small SaaS products struggle to convert website visitors into qualified leads. Without a structured follow up system, potential customers often show interest but never take the next step.
The goal of this project was to design a simple but effective automation system that could capture leads, deliver value, and guide prospects toward requesting a demo.

Strategy:

The solution was to design a lightweight marketing funnel using Kit that combined a lead magnet, email nurturing sequence, and subscriber segmentation.
The funnel follows this structure:
Lead Magnet ↓ Landing Page ↓ Email Capture ↓ Automated Welcome Sequence ↓ Lead Segmentation ↓ Demo Interest Identification

Lead Magnet:

To attract potential users, a downloadable checklist was created titled “Beauty Studio Growth Checklist.”
The resource helps beauty studio owners identify common booking gaps and introduces the concept of automation as a solution.

Landing Page:

A simple conversion focused landing page was built directly inside Kit.
The page highlights the value of the checklist and includes a minimal signup form designed to maximize conversions.

Lead Segmentation System:

A tagging system was implemented to categorize subscribers throughout the funnel.
Tags allow future campaigns and automations to target the right audience based on engagement and purchase intent.

Automated Email Sequence:

After downloading the checklist, subscribers are automatically enrolled in a 4-email nurturing sequence designed to educate and build trust.
Email flow:
Email 1 - Deliver the lead magnet Email 2 - Explain common booking mistakes Email 3 - Introduce automation benefits Email 4 - Invite users to request a demo

Marketing Automation Workflow:

The automation workflow connects all components of the funnel.
When a user downloads the checklist, they receive the automated email sequence and are progressively tagged based on engagement, allowing the system to identify prospects with higher purchase intent.

The Results:

While this project was built as a demonstration scenario, the funnel was designed following industry benchmarks for SaaS lead generation systems.
Projected results:
Landing page conversion rate: 18% Average email open rate: 52% Average click rate: 6% Estimated demo requests in first 30 days: 8–10
