As a freelancer, I was tasked with refreshing the HanaHaus website photos to highlight the diversity of spaces available, natural light, and Blue Bottle Coffee partnership. We faced challenges with shooting during operating hours with customers in the space and with poor lighting. Despite these challenges, we were able to create amazing photos that captured the essence of HanaHaus.

To address poor lighting conditions, I shot HDR photos that required more setup time but evened out harsh shadows from artificial lights. Shooting during operating hours with customers required a call sheet/shot plan and working around volunteer model availabilities during workday hours.

The new website showcased amazing photos of HanaHaus highlighting its unique features including natural light and diverse spaces which attracted new customers. The Blue Bottle Coffee partnership was also emphasized in new marketing efforts which helped increase traffic to their location.

Despite the challenges we faced during this project including time constraints and poor lighting conditions at times, our team was able to deliver high-quality results that exceeded expectations.
