PROJECT DESCRIPTION

My Notary Academy is a notary education & mentorship hub created by Kimberly Sennett and Audra Murray. The goal is to deliver state-specific training, certification programs, mentorship, and real-time support (“Lifeline”) to notaries, from brand new public notaries to experienced signing agents looking to upskill or scale. Their mission is to empower notaries with knowledge, legal compliance, practical tools, and community support so they can grow their business and provide trusted service.

CHALLENGES

Complex & State-Specific Content: Notarial laws, rules & certification differ state by state. My Notary Academy needed to present content clearly and allow users to access only the relevant training for their state without confusion.
Multiple Offerings & Membership Tiers: They offer certification courses, ongoing mentorship subscriptions, one-on-one coaching, Lifeline support, downloadable content, and free challenges. The site had to integrate all of this so that visitors know what’s available, how it works, and how to sign up.
Conversion & Trust: For notaries, investing in training means trusting the provider deeply, they need to believe the courses are accurate, state-compliant, and worth the cost. Presenting Kimberly and Audra as credible mentors, showing testimonials, and offering clear value was essential.
User Journey Optimization: Users land on the site in different places: some want certification; others want mentorship; or immediate help via Lifeline. The site needed to make it obvious where to go next. Without good flow, users risk bouncing.

SOLUTIONS PROVIDED

State-Based Navigation & Filtering: I helped set up flows so users can select their state early and be filtered to only relevant training/course content (certification & mentorship tailored to their region). This eliminated confusion and ensured relevance.
Clear Offering Breakdown: On the homepage and “Store” pages, offerings are grouped by type: Courses, Mentorship, Lifeline Services, One-on-One Coaching. Each has its own section with succinct features lists and CTAs helping users decide.
Mentorship & Lifeline Highlighting: Because Lifeline support is a powerful differentiator (real-time help while at the signing table), I made sure it's featured prominently. Users see clearly what they get with membership (group support, calls, video chat, training).
Advisor Display & Credibility: On the One-on-One Coaching page, advisors are listed by name, state, and expertise, showing friendly faces and profiles so users feel confident selecting someone.
Certification Funnel & Sales Page Structure: For the National Signing Agent Certification, I organized a step-by-step sales page with modules, benefits, course content breakdown, and a 72-hour refund guarantee to build trust & drive conversion.
Testimonial Integration: I placed student reviews (social proof) in strategic spots to reassure potential customers.
Clear CTAs & Funnels: Buttons like “Enroll Now”, “Schedule Now”, “Get Started”, and “Join Free Challenge” guide users forward, reducing friction.
Content Strategy & SEO: I helped ensure pages are structured for SEO (course pages, state pages) so people searching for state-specific notary training find My Notary Academy easily.
Ongoing Feedback Loop: After initial design, I worked with Kimberly & Audra to collect user feedback and refine page flows, ensuring conversion rates improved and users found what they needed quickly.

RESULTS & IMPACT

Increased Conversions: By clarifying the pathways (certification → mentorship → coaching), more visitors convert from browsing to course enrollments or mentorship subscriptions.
Lower Bounce Rate / Better Engagement: Users stay longer because they’re guided to relevant content quickly.
Stronger Brand Authority: Displaying advisors, reviews, credentials & Kimberly’s background has increased trust and perceived professionalism.
Streamlined Sales Funnel: The sales page for certification now clearly guides a prospect from awareness → decision → purchase, decreasing drop-off.
Revenue Growth: Membership and recurring revenue from mentorship + Lifeline services help stabilize and scale income.

CONCLUSION

My Notary Academy is more than just courses, it's an end-to-end platform for notaries to grow, learn, and succeed. By restructuring how information is presented, highlighting trust signals, and creating clear conversion paths, the site now effectively supports Kimberly & Audra’s mission: to empower notaries to thrive through education, mentorship, and ongoing support.
