MeetDistrict is a Belgium-based coworking provider offering a dynamic and modern work environment across four flexible office locations. With hubs in Ghent, Berchem, Brussels, and Diegem, it features over 1,500 desks and more than 90 “MeetBoxes” — fully equipped meeting rooms designed for productivity and collaboration.
🧩 Problem:
MeetDistrict’s existing desktop-first website lacked an optimized mobile layout, causing usability issues, especially for first-time visitors accessing coworking spaces. Users faced confusion at parking entrances due to unclear directions and lacked guidance during physical navigation on-site.
💡 Solution:
I redesigned the entire mobile structure of the site from scratch, simplifying navigation, restructuring content hierarchy, and ensuring finger-friendly UI elements. To solve parking confusion, I introduced illustrated entry/exit guidance and allowed users to mark their parked location—a user-centric UX improvement that blends the physical and digital experience.
🎯 My Role:
Analyzed the desktop layout and restructured it for mobile
Created a responsive UI and optimized touch targets
Designed mobile-friendly navigation and hierarchy
Integrated user guidance via visuals for physical navigation
Delivered high-fidelity prototypes in Figma
Ensured consistency with MeetDistrict’s premium brand image
This project was completed in 2020, yet it still feels as relevant as ever. Its lasting value in solving real-world user pain points makes it one of the pieces I’m proudest to showcase. Feel free to reach out!
