Squatch Epoxy Coatings installs flake, metallic, and quartz epoxy systems for homeowners and businesses across Manatee, Sarasota, Pinellas, and Hillsborough County, Florida. Garage floors, commercial spaces, parking garages, polished concrete. Real craftsmanship, applied by hand, one flake pattern at a time.
The work is premium. The old site wasn't.
The Problem
Squatch was running on a generic website builder template. Stacked service blocks, stock icons, a contact form buried at the bottom, no visual proof of the actual transformation a homeowner gets when a stained, cracked garage floor becomes a glossy showroom finish.
For a business that sells a visual result, that's the worst possible gap. People don't buy "epoxy flake systems." They buy the floor they saw in a photo and thought "I want that in my garage."
A templated site with no hierarchy and no story does two things badly:
It makes premium work look like a commodity.
It gives a homeowner zero reason to trust this crew over the next name in a Google search.
The Approach
We rebuilt the site around one idea: let the transformation sell itself, and let the craft and locality build the trust.
Visual-first structure. Before/after became the hero, not an afterthought buried in a gallery. Every service (flake, metallic, quartz, commercial) got its own moment instead of competing for space in a generic list.
Local trust signals, placed with intent. Licensed and insured, Manatee Chamber of Commerce membership, BBB profile, community sponsorships. These existed on the old site as a cluttered badge row. We gave them weight instead of noise, positioned right where a hesitant homeowner is deciding whether to trust a stranger with their garage.
One clear next step. A single, obvious quote request path instead of a form competing with five other calls to action.
Built in Figma first. Every layout, spacing decision, and interaction was designed and tested before a single line of Webflow code, so the client could see and approve the direction early, and so nothing shipped that didn't earn its place.
The Outcome
A site that looks like what it's selling: skilled, trustworthy, local, premium. Not a template. Not a generic flooring contractor's placeholder page. A brand that matches the quality of the floors it installs.
