Financial Writing: Credit Scores

I’m part of Generation Rent. I probably won't even be able to afford to buy a home when I’m 60. What’s the point? I get it; I’m disillusioned too. Your credit score doesn’t just allow you to get a mortgage in the future! It also gives you access to the best interest rates on credit cards and many other credit products.

While I'm a health-loving freelancer, my background is actually in financial services. I worked in the industry for almost a decade, leaving me with a lot of knowledge about pensions, investments, and the like.
Thanks to this experience, friends and loved ones often ask me personal finance questions. One of my friends was talking to me about credit scores, culminating in her asking me to write a guide on them. We have very little education about that stuff here!
So, I created this article to educate Millennials and Gen Z without boring them to death. It's empathic while drilling into facts. It's even got a little SEO going for it!
Since writing this article, I've written about credit scores and personal finance for other clients, including FTSE100/250 companies.

While it has a name with gaming vibes, “credit score” sounds dull. As it's a boring topic, many people don't educate themselves on it. That's where I come in!
