In 2022, I was brought on as the official photographer and creative director for the Grip It & Sip It Classic, a yearly golf outing rooted in friendship and charitable giving. For the 2023 tournament, we elevated the experience by creating a special “Returning” campaign to build hype around the players coming back from the previous year.
Drawing inspiration from PGA Tour promos, we designed individualized graphics for each returning golfer. I was given insights into each player’s personality, hobbies, and story, and used those details to shape a unique theme and visual direction for every piece.
From magazine cover parodies to bold editorial layouts, the series turned every participant into a headline act, setting the tone for an unforgettable weekend.
