Article Illustration

All illustration begins with sketches. Tons and tons of sketches. I make a goal of drawing a certain number of sketches for an article before starting and then narrowing the best options down. Completely understanding the article is also important, to know the themes and mood that the article conveys. After deciding on a final design, I redid my sketch on Procreate and rendered it there. All of the text was done in Adobe Illustrator.
