The logo needed to have a Celtic/Northern England/Viking theme to it. I did a lot of research for this one. I wanted to make sure I had every angle covered and as much knowledge as possible. I even looked into Viking runes and Celtic knot designs.

The client came to me not liking his existing branding. I was given the challenge to redesign their existing logo and to create a more celtic/northern feel. At first he wasn’t 100% sure as to what he wanted for his new logo so I came up with a lot of different sketches and ideas to spark more ideas. I was happy to work with my client until he was 100% happy with the outcome.

I knew that this branding was going to be something completely different to what I’m used to working on. With the amount of detail in the final design I knew I would have to create extra logo lockups and graphics for small applications. 

I created a logo mark that featured the N & W of Northern Web. We then went through a few iterations of this design to land on a Celtic knot design that looked like it was carved out of stone. Along with the logo mark I complimented it with a suitable typeface and graphics that the client can use whether they need to. Included in this Advanced Logo Design package are different logo lockups, brand graphics & patterns, social media profile images and a full style guide.

We went through a lot of design iterations during this brand identity design but the client was very happy with the final package. It was a fun project to work on and it fixed the brand issue my client was having when he reached out. The project was great to work on throughout and made me do a lot of research into some very interesting topics and design styles.
