This project explores the interplay of shape, texture, and nostalgia through animation and compositing in Cinema 4D and After Effects. Inspired by the tactile charm of VHS tapes, the piece features smooth, looping movements of geometric forms—a cube and a cylinder—bathed in a warm, grainy haze that evokes vintage media aesthetics.

The process involved a mix of procedural texturing and post-processing to replicate the classic analog distortion, complete with soft flickers, chromatic shifts, and subtle noise. Each detail was meticulously crafted to capture the essence of retro-futurism, blending the minimalism of geometric forms with the imperfect beauty of outdated technology.
