The photography studio was in its early stages, without a clear identity to differentiate itself from competitors.
In a market where most studios position themselves as expert-led, highly polished, and premium-only, the goal was to create an alternative, one that feels more human and approachable while still maintaining a professional standard.
The new identity explores themes of humanity, relatability, and warmth.
The core idea behind the brand is “Amateurish, but intentional.”
This positions the brand less like a formal service provider and more like a creative friend who captures honest, unfiltered moments.
The visual direction combines handwritten typography and hand-drawn abstract forms to introduce a sense of rawness and spontaneity, balanced by Swiss-style layouts that bring clarity and structure, ensuring the brand remains intentional rather than uncontrolled.
Each design element was created to reinforce the idea,
"Approachability through controlled imperfection "
The final identity positions the brand as distinct from overly polished competitors, more inviting to broader audiences and creatively expressive yet grounded.
These established a foundation for the brand to communicate with more authenticity, build a stronger emotional connection with the clients and stand out by personality rather than perfection.
