Using Frixion Pens

This entire week, I’m going to be following the
A stereotype of selling is that “You have to sell this pen.” Well, I can say with confidence that Frixion pens have the abilities that you need. They can write on Frixion’s proprietary notebooks as well as other surfaces.
Water-Soluble Ink
The ink comes in several bright colors, ranging from the bright purple to deep red. The ink is even water soluble, which is useful if you write the wrong thing. A quick swipe of a damp cloth on the Frixion notebook, and you’re ready to write again.
This solubility is also handy if smaller hands get the pen and start using it off paper. For example, when my 5 year old found my stash of pens, she immediately took the pinkest one and started drawing on any flat surface. While I was slightly upset that she had rummaged through my office, I knew that the marks themselves would come off fairly easily.
Finally, the ink is also “thermo-sensitive”. According to their website, Frixion ink can be heated to 60° Celsius (that’s around 140° Fahrenheit) and disappear. This means that you can erase any marks on your paper using the “eraser” on the end of all Frixion pens. Just be careful not to damage the material under the ink, such as wood or paper.
If you want the ink to reappear, put it into the freezer for a short time. This application is useful for temporary marking, like the kind sewers and crocheters use on their craft projects.
Long-Lasting Cartridges
I’ve used Frixion pens for the past four years. They’ve gone with me through my teaching internship, substitute teaching, actual teaching, product stocking, and now as a receptionist. They are great for a quick note for the future, longer notes on a student’s progress, and renovation marks that the bookshelf can only be “this high”.
Each cartridge has lasted me about 6 months. Any longer than six months causes the ink to stop adhering to the surface. For example, while I was taking notes on customers as a receptionist, my coworkers started to complain that they couldn’t read my notes as well.
Unique build
There are enough top clicking pens that it is basically a standard in the stationery industry. Frixion pens, on the other hand, have a side clicking mechanism. This means that it will always be very easy for you to identify your pen, diverting accidental pen theft.
I often have to offer people my pen so they can sign something. Every time I’ve handed out my Frixion pen, I’ve gotten it back.
There’s also an eraser on your Frixion pen, just like a regular pencil. As mentioned, you can erase your work by subjecting it to friction heat, which averages about 60° C or 140° F. Just like a pencil, erasing does a little damage to the eraser and to the material being erased.
Frixion has a great line of stationery products available at your local shopping center. I buy my pens at Walmart or through Amazon.
