Automated Post-Sale Customer Retention Workflow

A company was closing sales and then going quiet. Customers bought once and rarely heard from the business again.

The Problem

After a sale, the company had almost no contact with the customer.
They wanted to stay in touch for a full year, because trust is built by keeping up with customers after they pay.
They did not want to pay for a third-party email platform to do it.

The Solution

I built an automated workflow connected directly to the company's sales. It runs a 12-month email schedule for every customer, with no manual steps.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

It starts with the sale
Every time a sale is made, the workflow triggers. An AI agent reads the customer's data and the retention begins. Each customer gets their own start date, so everyone's year runs on its own schedule.
It knows what day it is
The workflow is connected to a real-time calendar. Each day it knows what is coming: the customer's birthday, New Year, or any other annual event. The email that goes out fits the date.
Emails in the company's own format
Each day a new HTML email is sent in the company's own template, so it reads like it came from their team. No paid email tool sits in between.

Results

40% of customers bought again.
Every customer now hears from the company through the year after their purchase.
Nobody adds customers to a list or remembers to follow up. The sale does it.
No third-party email platform to pay for.
