Project Scope: I played a crucial role in the development of a captivating web3 card game created in Unity, contributing as part of a dynamic team. My responsibilities spanned the creation of the AI mode, improvements to user login features, and enhancements to the website's landing page.
AI Mode Development: I spearheaded the development of the AI mode, adding a layer of depth to the gameplay. This feature not only offered players a challenging single-player experience but also showcased the technical prowess required to implement sophisticated AI algorithms within the Unity framework.
Web Development Enhancements: Beyond the game mechanics, I focused on refining the user experience on the web platform. This involved streamlining the login system and optimizing the layout and functionality of the landing page. The goal was to create a user-friendly environment that seamlessly integrated with the gaming experience.
Database Choice and Customization: Diverging from Firebase Firestore, the project opted for a PHP database. This decision was rooted in the need for customization and flexibility, allowing the team to tailor the database to specific project requirements. The PHP database served as a robust foundation for efficient data management.
Server Infrastructure and Multiplayer Dynamics: A notable aspect of the project was the utilization of sockets to manage user sessions and facilitate multiplayer interactions.
