Genuine question for the hiring managers here:
in 2026, does a candidate's portfolio still move the needle for you, or perhaps is it straight to GitHub and the system design round?
asking because I just rebuilt mine on the bet that it still counts. 11 production projects, the honest version of each (still manually doing the showcase study).
