Waitora Framer Template Case Study

This is not client work.

Project Summary

Waitora is a Framer landing page template for products and businesses that are collecting sign-ups before launch.
The idea behind the template is simple: when a product is not ready to launch yet, the website still needs to explain what is coming, create interest, and give visitors an easy way to join the waitlist.
I designed and built Waitora from scratch in Framer with this goal in mind. I wanted to create a landing page that feels professional and complete without adding unnecessary complexity.
The template uses a light visual style with a clean layout, clear messaging, and a strong focus on the main action: joining the waitlist.
It is designed to work for different types of products, including SaaS companies, apps, startups, digital products, and new businesses preparing for launch.

The Challenge

A waitlist website has one main job: get people interested enough to sign up.
But before someone joins a waitlist, they usually need answers to a few basic questions:
What is this product?
What does it do?
Why should I care?
What will I get?
When is it coming?
How can I join?
The challenge was to fit this information into one focused landing page without making it feel crowded or difficult to read.
There was also another challenge: Waitora is a template, so it couldn't be designed around one specific business.
It needed to be flexible enough for different products while still looking like a complete, professional website.

Goals

The project had several goals:
Create a reusable Framer template for products preparing to launch.
Make the purpose of the website clear from the beginning.
Give visitors enough information to understand the product.
Keep joining the waitlist simple and easy.
Make the template flexible enough for different businesses.
Create a complete project that showcases my Framer design and development skills.

Who Is Waitora For?

Waitora is designed for businesses that want to start collecting interest before their product is ready to launch.
It can work well for:
SaaS startups
AI products
mobile apps
digital products
new online services
startups preparing for launch
products that want to test interest before launch
Instead of starting a landing page from zero, these businesses can use Waitora as a starting point and replace the content with their own.

My Approach

Strategy

I started by focusing on the main purpose of a waitlist page: explain the product and make joining the waitlist easy.
I thought about the questions a visitor would have when arriving on a pre-launch website and used those questions to guide the content and layout.
The goal was to give visitors enough information to become interested without making them work through a long or complicated page.

Competitor Research

I looked at landing pages from startups, SaaS products, and other businesses collecting early sign-ups.
I paid attention to how they:
introduce the product
explain features and benefits
build trust
present calls to action
use forms
organize information on the page
This helped me understand what information is important on a waitlist website and how to present it clearly.

Design

Once I had a clear direction, I designed the landing page around a simple and flexible visual style.
The light theme keeps the website clean and easy to read while giving the template enough flexibility to work with different brands.
I focused on clear typography, simple layouts, consistent spacing, and a strong visual hierarchy.
The waitlist action is given special attention throughout the page so visitors always have a clear next step.

Development in Framer

I built the entire website from scratch in Framer.
The design and development were done together, which made it easy to test ideas, adjust layouts, and refine the final experience while building.
I created the page with responsive layouts so it works across desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.
The final template is also designed to be easy to customize, allowing someone to change the content, images, colors, and other details to fit their own product.

Design Decisions

Light and simple visual style

I chose a light theme because it keeps the page clean and readable while making it suitable for different types of products.

Clear focus on the main action

The main purpose of the website is collecting waitlist sign-ups, so the call to action is an important part of the page rather than something visitors only see at the end.

Enough information without unnecessary sections

A visitor needs enough information to understand a product, but a waitlist page does not need to explain everything.
I kept the content focused on the information that helps someone decide whether they want to join.

Flexible design

Because Waitora is a template, the design needed to work beyond one brand.
The visual system was kept simple enough that a startup or SaaS company can adapt it to its own product without having to redesign the entire page.

Responsive Design

The template was designed to work across different screen sizes.
I paid particular attention to:
typography
spacing
button sizes
form layout
section spacing
navigation
content order
The goal was to keep the same clear experience on mobile without simply shrinking the desktop layout.

Outcome

Waitora is a complete, reusable Framer landing page template built around one clear purpose: helping products collect interest before launch.
The finished template gives startups and SaaS companies a strong starting point for creating their own waitlist website.
For me, the project was also an opportunity to explore how to design a template that is not tied to one company or product, while still giving users a clear structure and a complete website they can adapt.
