MailOrdinal turns inbound email into an auditable decision queue. Instead of asking a model for an opaque priority score, the Jev adapter returns nine typed semantic signals: department, reply duty, action duty, customer blockage, time window, delay impact, follow-up state, message type and sensitivity.
A deterministic 100-point policy converts those signals into queue order, routing and a human-review decision. This keeps the model focused on semantic judgment while business policy remains visible, testable and changeable in code.
The implementation uses Next.js, TypeScript and Zod with server-side credentials, strict provider-response validation, rate limiting, responsive UI, automated tests and GitHub Actions. A demo provider makes the complete flow reproducible without external credentials.
