Healthclub Heijenoord — Custom Devlopment

Role: Product Designer & Developer

Overview

Healthclub Heijenoord is a local fitness and health club offering gym access, personal training, and wellness programs. While the club has a strong local presence, its existing website did not fully reflect the quality of the facility or provide a modern digital experience for potential members.
I redesigned and rebuilt the website from the ground up to create a modern, engaging, and conversion-focused web experience. The project involved designing a new interface in Figma and developing a fully custom frontend with modern web technologies.

What I did

Designed a complete website redesign in Figma with a cleaner layout and stronger visual hierarchy
Developed a custom frontend using React, Vite, and Tailwind CSS
Implemented smooth micro-interactions and scroll animations using Framer Motion and GSAP
Built responsive layouts optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
Structured components and layouts to keep the codebase scalable and maintainable
Added automated testing using Playwright to ensure reliability and stability
