I did another ring design. It had been a while, but I got some inspiration and wanted to try that interesting style of seating the diamond in a flower petal. The stone becomes the center of the flower and star attraction. With accompanying side flowers with smaller gems. Not sure about the durability. I think the smaller gold metal petals will fall off easily or get bent or nicked. It’s a cool, beautiful design, but it probably is not going to be practical for daily wear.

I made this ring into a commercial. One that you would typically see in ads. With a completely blacked-out background and mirror floor, the smooth camera pans and rotations definitely bring out the shimmer of the diamond and gold sparkle. I really like the outcome. It looks almost real with the updates to the new materials and camera settings.
