Invoice Correction Automation for Plumbing and HVAC

This project was for a business in the Plumbing and HVAC sector. I completed and fixed this automation which corrects invoice files containing inaccurate information, specifically invoice numbers and dates. The automation is driven by a Google Sheet that lists the correct invoice details along with their reference numbers.

The automation workflow includes the following steps:

Identify: It scans the Google Sheet and matches entries with corresponding invoices stored in a specific Google Drive folder.

Download: Once a match is found, the automation downloads the invoice file.

Correct: Using PDF.co, it replaces the incorrect information in the invoice with the accurate details from the Google Sheet.

Update: The corrected invoice is downloaded and re-uploaded to Google Drive, replacing the original, incorrect file.

This automation streamlines the correction process, ensures data accuracy, and eliminates the need for manual updates.
