Reflections - Book Packaging and layout concept

I designed this book concept as a collection of essays and research papers I wrote throughout my undergrad college experience.

To design a book that will translate my writing and research into a meaningful print experience: communicating the writing in the most visually exciting way possible, and maintaining readability through the use of assessability guidelines.

Created a moodboard of random ideas of the layout and design thought would capture the essence of the writting. Moved on from there to thinking about typography, layout, and hierarchy.
