This platform solves women’s issues of finding reliable information, products, and community. However, since this is still an MVP, we had to focus on the scope of reviewing femtech products first. Halo Femtech is basically like Yelp, but for femtech products!
Year: 2024
Industry: femtech, reviewing platform
Roles: Research, ideation, user journey, user flow, information architecture, user interface design, prototype

Objective

Encourage collaboration and communication between femtech founders and enthusiasts to share knowledge, experiences, and products related to women's health.
Empower women by providing access to information and resources that promote health.
Raise awareness about femtech products/services addressing women's health issues.
Cultivate a supportive and inclusive community where women feel comfortable discussing their health concerns and seeking support from peers and experts.

Target user

Design & tech agency team members and managers.

Team

I worked as the UI/UX designer & researcher. I worked directly under Halo Femtech’s product owner.

Process

Research & Analysis: This was the first time I conducted user interview sessions with foreigners. Instead of interviewing Indonesians, this project was focused on women in the U.S. first. Additionally, I interviewed femtech founders and users to gather their insights regarding their struggles as women or as femtech founders.
Ideation: We ideated features that might solve all the problems based on the research results and analysis. However, to limit the scope, we prioritised the MVP as the only most crucial feature: reviewing and discovering femtech products/services.
Wireframe & prototyping: Since this project was not a priority, the branding and UI design has not yet been finalised. Hence, the UI design might look very simple.
