The idea behind Spottid is to remember and to be able to later apply the concepts and ideas that may be useful in the future.

This tool makes it easy to take notes and revise the ideas one finds interesting while reading books, listening to podcasts or watching videos.

For this project I paired up with a designer and we came up with a clean and easy to use interface that lets users focus on structuring their ideas and does not distract them.

Our focus was on creating an intuitive experience, with a balanced number of features, great for saving and digesting information.

We developed a system that helps users to label their notes in a way that mimics physical world, and also leverages the digital one by making it easy to find and revise the information.

Spottid needed to work both on mobile and web, so we decided to build a hybrid application that runs on iOS, Android, and web browsers.

We built the backend - including a subscription validation system -, the hybrid app, the landing page, and a simple blog too.

Every project has its own particularities and understanding the business needs is key to a successful project. We undertook this project with a clear goal of creating a product that would help people benefit from the information they consume.

We were able to create a product that is easy to use, and that brings a lot of value to the users. For Spottid, we designed and built everything, from the logo, the iOS, android and web apps, to the backend, the landing page, and the product presentation for the app stores.
