I was commissioned by Walton Warriors, a prominent cricket and sports club based in Liverpool, to create a high-impact motion graphics promo for their flagship holiday event: Walton Carnival. The goal was to build anticipation for their "X’mas and New Year Program" by blending the club’s sporting identity with a festive, high-energy "fiesta" atmosphere.
The Creative Approach
Kinetic Typography: To match the "Frenzy" and "Groove" themes of the carnival, I utilized fast-paced, rhythmic typography that syncs with the beat, ensuring the event details remained unforgettable.
Brand Integration: I seamlessly integrated the Walton Warriors' cricket-centric branding—featuring their signature lions and batsman logo—into a vibrant, festive color palette suitable for a New Year’s celebration.
Dynamic Visual Storytelling: Using Adobe After Effects, I crafted a sequence that transitions from high-octane sports action to the "DJ Dhamaka" and "Little Legends" segments of the carnival, catering to a diverse family audience.
