Logo Design for Inclusion First Coffee Second

Inclusion First Coffee Second, is a small online business run by an Inclusive Educator whose mission is to make learning more inclusive. She creates interactive and fun learning resources for students.

The aim of the logo was to represent the concept of inclusivity and diversity. The first logo I designed in 2021 featured two coffee cups connecting like puzzle pieces, representing diversity and inclusion. However, I was recently asked to redesign the logo as the use of a puzzle piece as a symbol for autism can be offensive to some members of the autistic community.

For the new logo design, I decided to create a symbol that would promote inclusivity and acceptance while avoiding any offensive connotations. The new logo design features a rainbow infinity symbol, which symbolizes the infinite range of neurological differences that exist among human beings. The rainbow colors in the logo represent the diversity and inclusivity of the neurodivergent community. The infinity symbol is walking with a cup of coffee, symbolizing the idea that inclusivity is a vital part of our daily lives, just like our daily cup of coffee.
