Wealth — Document Upload Microinteraction

A playful microinteraction that transforms a single upload document into a layered stack. Smooth movements and a soft green palette bring depth and a responsive feel to a simple interface element.

Small interactions can shape how a product feels. For Wealth, I created a document upload microinteraction in Rive to give a routine interface element a more inviting, responsive character.

The goal was to add personality while keeping the upload symbol instantly recognizable. A single document expands into a layered stack, then settles back into place. Staggered movement and gentle easing give the animation depth, while the green palette keeps it visually calm.

I focused on the relationship between timing, spacing, and movement—how each document appears, follows the others, and returns to its starting position. The upload icon remains the visual anchor throughout, keeping the purpose clear as the illustration moves.

The result is a focused motion detail that brings a little warmth to a functional moment, showing how even a simple icon can contribute to a product’s personality.
