Project Concept Brief
After all of the research and sales material that I absorbed before buying my Audi, the one thing that irked me after using it, was the app. In all fairness it does serve its purpose but it was so basic in design, it felt it didn't live up to the actual vehicle. A quick look at Audi's own branding guidelines, and it was clear they only just touched the sides and kept to the absolute minimum. A minimalist swing and miss, in my opinion.
Aims & Results
I wanted to produce the sophisticated yet minimalist luxury with grunt (or engineering excellence I'm sure they'd say) that Audi stands for. The sizings, spacings, colours and typefaces are exactly to Audi's branding specification yet I feel as though my concept is much more modern and ultimately reflects how the car feels to me - and of course, dark mode!
