Vanguard Fit Club needed a website that reflected the bold, high-energy “Miami” branding they were already using on social media, without sacrificing clarity or professionalism on the website itself.
The Challenge
The existing website felt disconnected from the brand’s social presence. While their content online was vibrant and attention-grabbing, the site itself looked flat and generic, failing to communicate the atmosphere of the gym or build excitement for first-time visitors. The challenge was to bridge that gap: create a strong first impression that matched the brand’s energy while keeping the experience clean, intuitive, and conversion-focused.
The Approach
I designed an eye-catching, on-brand hero section that immediately sets the tone through bold color, large imagery, and confident typography. From there, the rest of the page shifts into a more restrained, mostly dark layout to maintain a premium feel and make the content easy to scan.
Large, immersive visuals were used throughout to help users feel the environment of the gym before ever stepping inside. The layout is structured to guide visitors naturally from awareness to trust to action.
