This simple chatbot became the top leads source for Pods4U

Pods4U is an Irish company specialising in high quality living pods. Their pods can be designed for a range of different uses (home office, gyms, living space etc.) and offer a unique solution for customers looking to add more space to their home.

Their growth since they launched in 2022 has been incredible.
They’ve 3x’d their team, delivered pods all across Ireland and grown their social media following by over 27,000 organically.
However, this growth brought a new challenge: keeping up with an influx of customer requests and questions.

The Challenge

They've received over 1,200 messages from customers through their website alone, many more through social media channels. And the number of requests was increasing each month.
The hours spent replying to these questions everyday was unsustainable so we developed a solution.

The Solution

I built a custom AI chatbot that would act as a customer support assistant.
This chatbot is an expert of Pods4U and could provide accurate, round-the-clock answers to customer inquiries. Automating this repetitive task freed up valuable time for the Pods4U team.
This chatbot was 'trained' on all of the company information and could provide conversional style answers across a range of key areas:
Price inquiries
Pod type and solutions
Customisation and materials
Installation and logistics
Planning laws
Extensions and other use cases
Because this chatbot was built using AI and had access to key business information, it could intelligently understand the customer's question and provide a useful response.
It was deployed across the website and social media channels, ensuring consistent and efficient customer support wherever their audience needed it.

July 2025 results

Over the last 7 months, the chatbot has handled over 400 conversions, exchanged close to 3,600 messages and collected over 56 leads directly in the chat.

From July 2025 onwards, we saw a real shift in engagement with the chatbot.

Average chats per month almost doubled, from 44 to 79.
A clear sign that where conversations are taking place is changing. People are no longer browsing sites in the same way.
They want their questions answered fast, and if you can’t deliver that, you miss out.
The chatbot became the #1 lead source on the site
From July 2025 onwards, the chatbot has consistently driven more leads than the website forms, and that's held through 2026.
1,350 conversations. 179 leads. 13.3% conversion rate.
At 3x the volume, the quality held almost exactly.
The average conversation runs 9 messages deep. 
These are not quick FAQ lookups.
Some conversations span materials, pricing, customisation, planning permission, delivery.
Real pre-sale conversations handled without a team member in the room.

This chatbot not only freed up value time by automating this repetitive task but also:
Acts as a 24/7 sales person answering customer’s question.
Filters out real customers from 'just inquiring' so they never miss out on a sale opportunity again.
Allows Pods4U to spend more time working on the business, rather than in the business.
