Soltivo is a technology platform that leverages machine learning to enhance safety and operational efficiency across buildings, municipalities, and states. As the company evolved from a startup into a global solutions provider, it needed a brand identity that reflected this growth one rooted in trust, clarity, and scalability.
Their previous identity was built around a basic wordmark, with no standalone symbol, limiting how the brand could scale across digital platforms. A four-pointed star was used as the mark but lacked distinctiveness and ownability.
I began with a full evaluation of the challenges:
— The wordmark lacked flexibility and wasn’t legally licensable
— The star, while symbolic, was visually generic
— There was no visual system for use across apps, software, or real world applications
From there, I built a new identity from the ground up, within strict creative constraints:
— A black and white + blue color palette
— No trends, shields, or sci-fi visuals
— A fully original, licensable type solution
The final brand system includes:
✔️ A customized wordmark based on Inter, refined for long-term use and clear ownership
✔️ A scalable, abstract symbol that forms an “S” — representing structure, flow, and interconnection
✔️ A reimagined star, now integrated into the symbol — not just a decorative icon, but a spark of intelligence, insight, and forward motion
The new symbol also forms the foundation for a scalable pattern system, giving the brand visual depth and flexibility across both digital and print.
This rebrand doesn’t just modernize the look — it solves real business and design problems. It brings visual consistency, brand clarity, and a scalable identity to a company that connects industries, protects communities, and designs for the future.
Thank You so much for your precious time!
I’d love to hear your thoughts — what do you think of the final outcome?
