This dominant yet versatile typeface brings back the sugar n’ spice of the 50s.
Hediem was discovered on an R & S Crystallized Oriental Ginger tin made in New York in the late 1900s. The ginger flavor was loved throughout the decades, and it still is today, due to its spicy yet sweet taste. In many different ways, these simple elements were combined to form a 16-font typeface that belongs to the sans-serif family.
Its strong appearance conceals a delicate side - oval and rectangle-inspired forms, rounded and sharp edges, and slight contrast - all of these attributes make it unique among sans-serifs. It includes uppercase characters, numerals, punctuations, an ampersand, and a variety of styles for both sharp and rounded edges. With all of these bold characteristics, Hediem is best used in display formats.
