Odisha Coffee Collective (OCC) is the definitive hub for the state's growing specialty coffee ecosystem. Founded on the principles of transparency and local pride, OCC is dedicated to putting Odisha's coffee on the map. Through community meetups, cupping sessions, and shared knowledge, the collective connects every link of the coffee chain, from the farmers nurturing the soil to the baristas pouring the final cup. It is a shared space for those who believe that exceptional coffee is fundamentally about human connection.

We wanted to avoid the generic "coffee cup" clichés. Instead, the Odisha Coffee Collective logo looks inward to the land itself. The icon is a fusion of a coffee bean and a traditional Odia art motif.
It feels handcrafted, intricate, and organic mirroring the artisanal nature of shade-grown coffee. The typography (a bold, high-contrast serif) adds a layer of established authority, signaling that this is not just a trend, but a legacy in the making.

The Icon: A dual-tone coffee bean rendered with indigenous geometric patterns.
The Typography: Classic serif lettering for "OCC" conveys timelessness and authority.
The Concept: The two halves of the bean represent the union of Cultivation and Community.

We wanted the visual identity of the collective to feel as organic as the coffee they celebrate. Rather than arbitrarily assigning brand colors, we extracted the primary palette directly from the roasting process itself. This allows the logo to adapt its tone across community touchpoints; from digital announcements to physical tasting cards.

The goal of this identity system was to bridge the gap between indigenous agricultural heritage and the contemporary 'Third Wave' coffee experience. By utilizing adaptable color systems, eco-conscious applications, and heritage-inspired geometry, OCC is now equipped with the visual tools necessary to educate, gather, and advocate for Odisha’s specialty coffee ecosystem on a national stage.
