Overview

BakeOps is an ongoing Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for industrial bakeries. It brings recipes, production planning, live batch records, LOT traceability, quality controls, and loss analysis into one production-focused platform.

The challenge

Industrial bakery teams need to track more than sales. They need a reliable record of how products were made: the recipe, raw-material LOTs, equipment, shift, operator, process conditions, yield, and production losses. Those details are often scattered across paperwork and disconnected systems.

Product approach

BakeOps is designed around the shop-floor workflow. Recipes use baker's percentages and scale automatically to flour weight, while production records connect each batch to its inputs and operating context.
Key product areas include:
Baker's-percentage recipes with automatic hydration, dough-weight, and yield calculations
Planned and live production batches
Material LOT traceability from finished pallet back to a specific delivery
Facilities, production lines, mixers, ovens, and shifts
HACCP checks and process logs
Loss tracking by type, including dough, baking, trimming, evaporation, and returns
Daily, weekly, and monthly planning by line and shift
English and Croatian product experiences

My contribution

I’m continuing to work on the product experience for a production system that turns bakery-floor data into a connected operational record.
