University Library

In this project, which was designed within the scope of the re-functioning project of the old Faculty of Architecture building located on the Akdeniz University Campus, as a library, the concept of 'Workshop Library' was developed on the axis of art and science open to applied learning, since there is a traditional library building near the building.

Panels were designed for the use of solar panels on the facade of the building and it was aimed to create an iconic structure for the campus by activating the lighting in the evenings.

The classrooms on the ground floor of the building were converted into workshops with minimal changes. The upper floor was turned into an open plan to create a flexible reading/working area.
