Overview: "Lavra a Rir" is an annual stand-up comedy show based in the city of Lavra, Portugal. Now in its 4th edition, the event has built a tradition of refreshing its visual identity each year, always aiming for something that captures the energy and uniqueness of the lineup.
Creative Approach: For this year’s identity, I aimed to strike a balance between clarity and personality. The core design is clean, bold, and typographically driven, but I introduced hand-drawn scribbles and underlines to bring a human, spontaneous energy, reflecting the improvisational spirit of comedy. I also applied a dynamic slant to the layout, breaking from rigid structure and adding visual tension and rhythm, like a good punchline.
This year's color palette combines confident purples and pinks with strong black and white contrast, helping each comedian’s name and photo stand out while maintaining overall harmony.
