needed an impactful and nuanced video script that incorporated nods to the community it directly serves—Toronto’s Little Jamaica—as well as the city’s wider Black creative community.

Working alongside New York-based creative agency

Joan Creative

, I co-wrote the campaign’s voiceover script, with key phrasing later repurposed for additional print elements across the wider campaign. This included within the branded exhibition “Here to Stay,” an experiential activation at TIFF Bell Lightbox that explored spaces that have shaped Toronto culture over the years.
